We came very close to a White Christmas in Raleigh, North Carolina, my residence (primary or close second) for the past 40 years. The record books say that the last White Christmas here was in 1947. The snowfall you see in the photo here, snapped at 8:30 this morning from my balcony, began just after midnight. So we're still dreaming of that White Christmas.
Best wishes to all on this lovely day after Christmas. And if the snowstorm in the Eastern US is wreaking havoc on travel plans, just sit back, relax and have another glass of eggnog.
