Eye on Treasuries

Treasuries have been interesting to watch over the past year and especially in the last several weeks of quantitative easing from the Fed. I'll continue to post periodic updates and to make occasional tweaks to the charts I feature. I the spirit of closer scrutiny of near-term yield volatility, I've added the 7- and 20- year Treasuries to this chart.

Chris comments: Yields have risen sharply in the past 100 days. Has this rally broken long-term resistance channel lines?

As one can see in the chart above, yields are up against resistance that in the past has been a bond buying opportunity in the long end of the curve.
