Chris Kimble calls our attention to the interesting situation that has developed on the metals front.
Chris comments: If Gold is the "General" in charge of the metals army, are the troops following the general's leadership?
The troops — Silver, Platinum, Palladium, Copper, CRB index and mining shares — all made highs TWO years ago.
If runaway inflation or hyper-inflation was knocking on our doorstep, wouldn't the troops being following the action of General Gold?
With the troops not following the general, plus the pattern that General Gold has created (a rather decent-sized rising wedge), be aware that the General can change his battle plan and fall back with the troops.
Will General Gold or the troops prevail in this divided-metals campaign? Stay tuned, this battle will send a broad message about the direction of the global economy!
