TLT Treasury Bond ETF: Pocket Change
July 9, 2010  Analysis from Chris Kimble

Here's another Kimble pocket change strategy — one that works with channel boundaries. For some context see this post from March 26th. Here is Chris's current take on the iShares 20+ Year Treasury ETF.

Chris explains: TLT has been in a clear channel for the past few years, with one breakout.

The trade has been nothing fancy: Just buy at the bottom of the channel and sell at the top.

TLT is breaking two key support lines right now. Pocket the channel gains at this time.

For those who would like to score on defense, pick up inverse bond ETFs with a stop on an upside breakout of the channel.
