Rising rates and falling stocks... "Danger, Will Robinson?"
January 20, 2011  Analysis from Chris Kimble

The direction of Treasury yields is a favorite topic of mine, so I was especially interested in the following inverted yield chart from technical analyst Chris Kimble.

Chris comments: The last couple of days have left most investors with few places to hide, as stock, bonds and commodities have been soft (the "all-the-same" market challenge).

See the chart above of the yield on the 30-year bond (inverted).

Should yields break this key line, scoring on defense will become a good strategy yield wise.
