The Dollar and CRB Index Odd Couple

Technical analyst Chris Kimble has some thoughts on a rather conspicuous odd couple, the U.S. Dollar and the CRB index.

Chris comments: Several times over the past 20 years, the CRB Index and the Dollar have moved together, yet the majority of the time they look like the odd couple, moving in different directions.

Commodities have been moving higher and the Dollar lower. At some point these trends will change, even when there's no apparent trigger for the change. At present we see some interesting patterns of support/resistance that could create a trend change and impact many investments.

Watch the Dollar and the CRB index very closely right now to see if a trend change could be taking place.
