Here's the latest weekend update from
Serge Perreault, a Chartered Accountant and market technician located near Montreal, Canada. Serge has been following the U.S. market in a series of weekly charts.
This week, the S&P 500 paused its ascension inside an uptrend from 2009 on 48.8% below-average volume and on mixed momentum. The RSI is in overbought territory as well. The index is back at the level it was before the fall of Lehman Brothers in September 2008.
